It gets promoted as a tool that solves problems when at its heart it is a set of values that encourage you to confront problems.<\/p>\n<p><em>We should all recognize these organizing principles&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaboration over negotiation<\/li>\n<li>Working software over specification<\/li>\n<li>People over process<\/li>\n<li>Responding to change over following a plan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, Bob Martin\u2019s \u201cQuality over crap\u201d\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear:both;padding-top:36px;\">\n<a href=\"http:\/\/judykat.com\/ken-judy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/iStock_000000272509Small.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/judykat.com\/ken-judy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/iStock_000000272509Small-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"Worship the plan. It told her to turn onto a bridge. Problem was the bridge had been washed away. She drove her $160,000 Mercedes into the flood where it was swept away.
